Aortic Stenosis/TAVR/TAVI
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) or transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) is minimally invasive heart surgery performed to replace narrow aortic valves in the heart. TAVR/TAVI enables you to return to routine activity more quickly than open-heart surgery. Patients who have undertaken the procedure describe an enhancement in their quality of life shortly post-procedure.
